
Barcelona touched down in Paris on Monday evening for the 2025 Ballon d’Or gala at the Théâtre du Châtelet, which starts at 21:00 CEST on Movistar Plus. The club traveled with a large group led by president Joan Laporta and featuring nominees from both the men’s and women’s teams, as well as head coach Hansi Flick.
On the men’s side, Lamine Yamal, Pau Cubarsí, and Raphinha are all in Paris. Lamine and Cubarsí are up for the Kopa Trophy for the best U-21 player, while Raphinha is on the 30-man shortlist for the Ballon d’Or, with Lamine, Lewandowski, and Pedri also included. Flick is in town as a nominee for Coach of the Year, and Pedri remain in Barcelona to rest.
For the women’s side, Caroline Graham Hansen, Patri Guijarro, Ewa Pajor, Clàudia Pina, Aitana Bonmatí, and Alexia Putellas are all in Paris. Vicky López is also up for the Kopa Trophy, while Cata Coll is in the running for the Yashin Trophy for best goalkeeper.
The institutional group is sizable too. Laporta heads a delegation that includes Rafael Yuste, Elena Fort, directors Joan Soler and Xavier Puig, and executives Enric Masip, Alejandro Echevarria, Gabriel Martínez, and Jordi Gómez. Jordi Cruyff is also present in connection with the coaching awards named after Johan Cruyff.
Lamine traveled with a personal entourage of about 25 family members and friends in addition to the club’s group. His father has been in Paris since Friday and a DJ is lined up for a private celebration after the gala.
