The same outlet also notes that Barcelona’s other professional teams will carry the “RD Congo – Coeur de Afrique” emblem on their training wear as part of the Global Partner deal.
The agreement
The sponsorship guarantees €11m annually over four seasons (total €44m). The collaboration will be visible at the future Espai Barça, where a “Casa de la DRC” space is planned to showcase Congolese cultural and sporting heritage through interactive displays. The club’s Barça Academies will also roll out activities in the region – camps and clinics in football, basketball, handball, futsal and roller hockey.
