We are pleased to announce that Blaugranagram has taken home its ninth award: Best Independent Sports News Platform of 2025 in the Nordic region of Europe.
We are truly honored to see our work recognized in this fashion, and this marks our third award in the 2025 calendar year.
This year has been a very important one in Blaugranagram’s history, as we’ve delved even deeper into some of the concepts we had discussed at the meeting of our Board of Directors ahead of the new year, including the ‘rebirth’ of The Driven Shot podcast. This time, however, the podcast became a collaborative effort between ourselves and one of the biggest media outlets in Spain, in Mundo Deportivo, something we are very happy with.
2025 also saw us reintroducing audiovisual content, in the form of live commentary on matchday, and though we do recognize that consistency has not always been on our side, it is something we are actively working towards, and something we believe we have done well in, thus far.
We have also taken a step wrt. our website: not just the redesign, but we’ve also removed all ads on the website. This is in an attempt to provide you with distraction-free content.
This does, however, mean that we need to make the financial revenue elsewhere, and we will be relying on our BG Shop, where you can buy merchandise, as well as donations. Both can be done on our front page, and even the smallest donations count: 1 USD or 1 EUR can truly go a long way, even as a one-off donation. We urge you to not feel in any way pressured into doing this, but we would truly appreciate it, as it would help keep our rendition of real journalism alive and well.
We will continue to take your feedback into account as we strive to give the best experience to football fans around the world, whether that’s through commentary, articles, social media posts or otherwise, helping you stay up to date with the sport you love the most.
We’ve also worked on refining our voice to be more of what we believe Blaugranagram has always stood for: being a voice for the people, being raw and unfiltered, and using our platform to bring attention to the right things, especially for people that unfortunately lack their own platform to spread their own message.
We will continue to work tirelessly in providing the best, up-to-date content and news for our readers and fans, and we appreciate your unwavering, unconditional love and support, as the company continues to grow.
