Barça beat Celta 2-4 as Lewandowski nets hat trick

Barcelona traveled to Balaídos with a chance to make up ground after Madrid’s draw against Vallecano, and they delivered. A 2-4 win over Celta brings Barça to 28 points, closing the gap to 3 points behind Madrid before the international break.

FC Barcelona 2024/25 Annual Report

Barcelona released its 2024/25 Annual Report in late October alongside the Ordinary General Assembly, where members approved last season’s accounts and the 2025/26 budget. We have looked through the 338-page report to pull the key figures on revenue, wages, transfer payables, taxes, financing, one-offs, and the stadium project. The point of this is to put the most accurate numbers in one place, because there are too many shaky claims and fake figures floating around.

Eric GarcĂa suffers nasal fracture

Barcelona centre-back Eric García left the pitch late in the 3-3 draw against Club Brugge after a clash of heads with Romeo Vermant. Support the movement

Oh wow, you scrolled all the way down here? Listen…

Trust us, when we say we don’t like to ask.

We wish we could deliver this, for completely free, in every capacity.

Unfortunately, we can’t. You can blame capitalism for that.

If you’d like to support us financially — whether once or monthly — even just $1/€1 genuinely goes a long way. You can also visit the BG Shop and grab something for your wardrobe or desk.

Here’s examples of what that money can go to:

  • Helping us stay consistent in providing the latest news
  • Improving the quality of our audiovisual content and production
  • Providing you with more cool stuff, like this website (cool, right?)
  • Covering the ongoing costs for our website and platforms
  • Supporting our dedicated staff: passionate football fans
  • and some nice coffee to get the day started (this gas station coffee tastes like engine oil, help me)

And, jokes aside: it would genuinely mean a lot to us. Like, a lot.

We have done this for many years now, and will continue to do so.

If you feel able to, we’d love it, if you would buy something from our shop, or click & fill in the form below. If not, rock on, and we truly appreciate your support either way.

Be a part of the movement that keeps real journalism independent.
