García Pimienta’s team visited the field of l’Hospitalet without finding any reward for the good game they had. It is difficult for Barça to add points especially away from home and this Sunday makes its second consecutive defeat.

The Catalan team jumped into the game with an initial XI affected by injuries, since there are 6 injured players and two unavailable (Arnau Tenas and Óscar Mingueza) due to being in first-team dynamic.

XI: Iñaki Peña, Álvaro Sánz, Ramos Mingo, Arnau Comas, Mika Màrmol, Jandro Orellana, O. Busquets, Nico González, Gustavo Maia, Nils Mortimer and Zeballos.

As usual, the subsidiary dominated the game almost from start to finish but without creating clear scoring chances and very little danger. Barça needs to convey the good work in defence and midfield to a more advanced height in the field.

Despite the fact that the defence led by a new and reliable centre-back couple, made up of a great Ramos Mingo and Arnau Comas, who since his return has been imperial, but has not been enough to keep a clean sheet. Two good goals from L’Hospitalet kept the three points in Llobregat.

Another negative point to mention is the muscle injury suffered by Oriol Busquets in the first half. The midfielder joins the long list of injuries, more medical tests will determine his time off.

On the other hand, it is worth mentioning the masterclass of Jandro Orellana as the team’s orchestrator, the balance and the elegance of the Barça B. With Nico González and Lucas De Vega as good companions. Konrad’s spark in attack, who only entered the second half because he is considered for the first team, is the way forward to generate more danger and then translates to an advantage on the scoreboard and not only in the game.

Added to the consistency of Iñaki Peña as a guardian angel of the Barça goal. The positive? Alejandro Baldé’s debut in an official match with the subsidiary is the beginning of a left-back with plenty to make the leap, promising and with an exciting talent that will surely develop wonderfully at the hands of García Pimienta, who is more than a coach, an exceptional mentor.

The return of captain Álex Collado after months out due to injury had to wait and although his team needs him more than ever, the coaching staff decided not to risk and wait for the moment to come. Without a doubt, Sabadell’s midfielder, winger or false nine is the best reinforcement for the team that needs a leader in attack.

The feelings are good. The way forward is the game so good and enjoyable that they offer but without a goal, there is no prize, and now the team needs the points like eating.
