Pau Cubarsí and Lamine Yamal remain focused on the upcoming Atlético match before joining ‘la Roja’ for friendlies.

Pau Cubarsí and Lamine Yamal have earned Xavi Hernández’s trust in Barcelona’s line-ups and received a call from Luis de la Fuente for the Spanish national team ahead of the Eurocup, but before joining ‘la Roja’ for two friendlies, the two academy players are focused on Sunday’s visit to Atlético. “We have to give our all this Sunday against Atlético, we haven’t put the league aside, there’s still a lot of league left, and we’ll fight until the end,” commented the center-back in statements to the club’s media.

Meanwhile, the winger also expressed in the club’s media that “it will be very difficult because Atlético is a good team at home, but if we play our game, we can achieve victory.”

Lamine Yamal added, “We can get closer to Madrid and the second place; it will be a very important match.”
