Several clubs in both LaLiga and Bundesliga are interested in Oriol Busquets, but Barcelona wants him to be with the first team for the pre-season preparations.

The sporting directors of the Catalan club are already working in the transfer window, which will be marked by moves involving swap deals exchanging players. In Barcelona they begin to make their moves and among them, they are starting to decide the future of their players, currently, on loan.

Oriol Busquets is one of them, as the Barça academy product has had a successful loan spell at the Dutch club, FC Twente. His time in the Netherlands is nearing its end, as the Eredivisie season has been ended prematurely, giving the player and the Catalan club time to think about his future.

The young midfielder also had minutes as a central defender and caught the attention of Barcelona, who like the versatility he has shown during his fruitful time in the Dutch first division.

Barcelona wants Oriol Busquets to be part of the preseason with the first team, although the Catalan club does not rule out any possibility. Oriol Busquets can stay in Quique Setién’s team depending on the players who leave and the places that remain, reports the Spanish news outlet, Mundo Deportivo.

According to the same report, in case he does not take place in Barcelona’s first squad, the Sant Feliu de Guíxols player will have many suitors in the Bundesliga and LaLiga.

From Germany, several clubs have asked about the young Catalan, including Hamburg, who would only be considered if they managed to get the promotion into the first division. On the other hand, there are FSV Mainz, FC Köln and Werder Bremen, all interested in gaining the services of the midfielder.

In Spain, Alavés and Valladolid have been watching Oriol Busquets and await the end of the season to ask Barcelona about him.

The La Masía player has, as for now, several options to choose the path of his career. The 21-year-old Oriol Busquets has previously expressed during an interview on the Què t’hi Jugues program by SER Catalunya that his dream is to return to Barcelona and gain a place in the first team.
