FC Barcelona will be lining up in the following formation: Ter Stegen will stand between the posts, with Oscar Mingueza, Gerard Pique, and Clement Lenglet comprising the back three from right to left in front of him. Sergino Dest and Jordi Alba will serve as wing-backs and the usual three will take up the positions in the middle: Sergio Busquets, Frenkie de Jong, and Pedri. Lionel Messi and especially Antoine Griezmann will be stationed nearest to the opposition’s goal.

Villareal, meanwhile, will start with the following XI: Sergio Asenjo will start in goal. The defense includes Juan Foyth and Alberto Moreno as the fullbacks, and Raul Albiol and Pau Torres covering the middle. In front of them, Etienne Capoue will be partnering up with Dani Parejo in a two-man midfield and Samuel Chukwueze and Manu Trigueros will each be covering one wing. Gerard Moreno and Paco Alcacer will present the biggest threat to the Catalans upfront.
