Ferran Torres will miss Barcelona’s Champions League match against Napoli due to an ongoing hamstring injury.

Ferran Torres will not train this Monday and will be unavailable for the match against Napoli in the Champions League round of 16 second leg. The player from Foios did not take to the field at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper as a precaution due to his ongoing recovery from a hamstring injury suffered against Osasuna nearly a month and a half ago.

While Torres has been eager to return, it is too early for him to play against Napoli due to the risk of re-injury given the tender state of the scar tissue. On the other hand, Barcelona trained with all available players, with Marcos Alonso being the only addition to the squad list for the match against the Italians. The rest of the team, including Raphinha, who has recovered from a knock suffered against Mallorca, are all fit. Additionally, Xavi included several players from the reserve team, including Astralaga, Marc Casadó, Unai Hernández, Héctor Fort, Marc Guiu, and Pau Cubarsí, with the latter having a chance to start.

President Joan Laporta did not attend training this time, but Vice President Rafa Yuste was present to greet the players and wish them luck for the crucial Champions League match on Tuesday.
