Héctor Fort has impressed with his character and performance, making significant contributions to the senior team.

Héctor Fort has emerged as a prominent figure at La Masia in recent weeks, gaining valuable experience with the first team. Having been part of the club since 2013 and officially designated as an U19 player, Fort has showcased remarkable character beyond his years. Despite his youthful status, he has adeptly filled in as both a left and right back for the senior team, accumulating four appearances, three of which were as a starter.

Expressing his dedication, Fort stated, “I will continue working diligently, hoping for more opportunities.” He conveyed his immense pride, excitement, and happiness, emphasizing the culmination of years of hard work to reach his current position. Fort credited La Masia for instilling Barça values in him and expressed gratitude to Xavi for the opportunities provided. He conveyed the readiness of himself and fellow young players to prove their worth, stating, “We are more than prepared for this, and we are giving our best.”

Thrilled about playing at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, Fort, a lifelong Culer, shared his excitement, saying, “I have been a Culer all my life, and I was very excited to play in front of the fans.”

When asked to describe his playing style, Fort highlighted his versatility, strong personality, proficiency with his feet, and excellent physical condition. Looking ahead, he expressed his desire to remain at his home club for as many years as possible, stating, “I hope that I can stay here, at my home, for as many years as possible.”
