Barça Atlètic faces a depleted squad due to international call-ups and injuries.

Barça Atlètic has confirmed that the FIFA virus leaves them short-handed for their Sunday match against Cornellà. The Primera RFEF, like the Second Division, continues during the international break, affecting Barça Atlètic, which finished matchday 28 of Group 1 just one point behind the leaders, as several of their players are on international duty. Up to 12 players from the reserve team, including some youth players, will join their national teams. The team, currently on a nine-game unbeaten streak, defeated Teruel 4-2 last Saturday, accumulating 51 points, level with Nàstic (0-0 against Cornellà) and one point behind Deportivo (1-1 against Sabadell).

According to Javier Gascon of Mundo Deportivo the challenge for Rafa Márquez will be against Cornellà. Currently, they have six players out injured: Trilli, Pelayo, Aleix Garrido, Biel Vicens, Ángel Alarcón, and Iker Goujón.

On that day, they will certainly miss Mika Faye (Senegal national team), Marc Bernal (Spain U-17), Jaume Cuéllar (Bolivia national team), Noah Darvich (Germany U-18), and three players called up for Spain U-19: Héctor Fort, Marc Guiu, and Sergi Domínguez, the latter joining due to an injury replacement. Additionally, although less significant for Márquez, youth players Juan Hernández, Albert Navarro, and Guille Fernández are affected. Diego Kochen will join the U-19 team of the United States. Pau Cubarsí, set to debut with Spain’s senior team alongside Lamine Yamal, would have played for the reserves if not called up by Luis de la Fuente.

Rafa Márquez can rely on Marc Casadó, a regular in the first team’s squad and absent in Teruel for the same reason. He will have goalkeepers Astralaga and Vidal, defenders Mbacke, Gerard Martín, and Edu Sánchez; midfielders Casadó, Moha, and Unai Hernández; and forwards Pau Víctor, Diego Percan, Naim, and Pocho Román. Typically, he calls up youth defender Olmedo and midfielders Pau Prim and Brian Fariñas. Youth winger Dani Rodríguez is also injured. Casadó and Moha have occasionally played as right-backs in emergencies.
