Barcelona have decided that for next season they want to count on the Spaniard as a reinforcement for their defense. In case they don’t sign the player in this winter market, they will look to Mingueza, Comas or Ramos Mingo from Barca B as immediate reinforcements for the defense.

It will be difficult for the arrival of the Catalan central defender if Manchester City does not lower their standards. The English team would not go below 15 million euros and the Spanish club is not willing to put up that money for the player at the moment.

The player’s desire is clear, he has not renewed with the Manchester team and intends to return to Barcelona. However, that will not be an easy task since the English are asking for a significant amount of money. However, if Barcelona wait until June 30th, the player will arrive in Barcelona for free.

But that’s not the only drawback when it comes to wanting to sign the 19-year-old. For that, the club will have to sell first to players who are not liked by Ronald Koeman, like Junior Firpo, Carles Aleña, Samuel Umtiti or the Danish Martin Braithwaite.

What happens if Barcelona is unsuccessful in getting Garcia this winter? They will go for young players frm Barcelona B such as Oscar Mingueza (21), the former Boca Juniors, Santiago Ramos Mingo (18) or even Arnau Comas (20), in an effort to avoid signing a defender in a hurry like the case with Colombian defender Murillo, who played four games in six months in his stay in Barcelona when Luis Enrique was the coach.

For his part, Ronald Koeman, has already expressed the desire to be able to count on Éric García in the staff.
