Barcelona players bid farewell to the departing Arturo Vidal

Serie A side Inter Milan recently announced the signing of Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal from FC Barcelona. Several of his teammates from the Spanish side took to social media to convey a farewell message to the Chilean international.

Serie A side Inter Milan recently announced the signing of Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal from FC Barcelona. Several of his teammates from the Spanish side took to social media to convey a farewell message to the Chilean international.

Luis Suárez: “Having you as a rival was unbearable because of how great you are as a player, but having you as a teammate, friend, and knowing you as a person is even bigger! A pleasure to have been with a star player like you. I wish you all the best.”

Jordi Alba: “We are going to miss you a lot. It has been a real pleasure to share many moments with you. I wish you the best, you deserve it brother, you are great!”

Ronald Araújo: “Great footballer and an even better person. Thanks for everything King, Good luck.”

Samuel Umtiti: “Brother I wish you all the best. You are a great personality. We’re going to miss you. Good luck.”

Carles Aleñá: “I have learnt a lot with you king! What a great footballer but above all what a great person! Wish you all the luck in the world!”

Sergi Roberto: “Good luck! I wish you all the best! It has been a pleasure to share the same shirt with you! A hug!

Sergio Busquets: “Good luck. I wish you the best, friend.”

Club captain Lionel Messi also shared a post bidding farewell to Vidal, to which the latter responded by saying, “Thank you Alien! It has been an honour to play with the greatest of all time, thanks a lot for your friendship. I already miss you all. See you soon.”

Finally, the midfielder conveyed a farewell message to the club saying, “Today I say goodbye to everyone in FC Barcelona, after two wonderful years at this great club. I leave very proud of having dressed this shirt and of having played together with great players and great people. I want to thank my family, my teammates, the coaches, the doctors, the staff and all the wonderful fans that always showed me much love.

Today I start a new stage in my life but you’ll always be in my heart.
