Barça B survived a very hard and aggressive Alcoyano thanks to a Konrad brace, who is performing an impeccable second phase. The atmosphere in El Collao was extremely hostile and the referee, intimidated by the fans, did not know how to stop the situation. Still, the triumph brings Barça B closer to the final stage.

Alcoyano received Barça B with all the possible difficulties for García Pimienta’s boys. The uncut lawn, the heated audience and the local players showing as much aggression as possible couldn’t beat a “B” team who was intimidated at first due to the harshness of the tackles.

No one dominated the game, the two teams played long balls and only Alcoyano generated some danger through corner kicks. Naturally, the “B” was not comfortable in that situation, and Iñaki Peña saved his team with big interventions in the set pieces.

When Barça was having a worse time, one of those long balls reached the area, and Peque heartily fought a ball that ended up at Konrad’s feet, which from the right crossed perfectly to put Barça B ahead after half an hour in which they had been under heavy pressure and intimidation.

From that moment on, the visitors began trying to make his football, although Alcoyano tried to avoid it by all means. The match took place between Barça trying to create football and Alcoyano trying to destroy it based on tackles and intimidation.

After the show of personality and competitiveness of the “blaugrana”, a second play with 15 minutes left ended with Diakité splicing an unstoppable volley to the net that unfairly matched the score. Luckily, the team reacted well and dominated again.

With 10 minutes remaining, a Konrad’s big play on the left wing ended with a shot that Jose Juan couldn’t stop and sneaked into the net. 1-2 final time, which brings the subsidiary closer to the final playoff, since they are just two points away from clinching the top spots.
