Barça B beat Hospitalet by a convincing 6-0 scoreline earlier today. It was a pure exhibition skill from García Pimienta’s boys, now find themselves just 3 points away from the second place, with the team in great spirits after Collado, Ilaix Moriba and Konrad put in a great shift.

Barça B has five matches ahead of them where they must give everything to aspire to promotion, but they face this final rush with unbeatable sensations. The match against Hospitalet was complicated, with a closed and rocky team, but the approach was excellent. “Pimi” made Konrad and Collado play near each other by placing the latter inside, while Lucas de Vega stood as a left winger. And the move went perfectly.

The second team began dominating, feeling comfortable with the ball, but Hospitalet soon warned that if the “B” did not watch their back, they would have problems. Far from becoming accommodated, the home team drowned the opponent, and in the 20th minute Alvaro Sanz found Rey Manaj, who headed the first goal in. With the first goal, the away team began to open, and Barça B made them pay.

Before half-time, Ilaix Moriba wrecked the defense. He scored and provoked a penalty that became Manaj’s brace. Both were excellent associative plays and it was 3-0 at half-time, with a sense of superiority that Barça B does not usually have in a competition with very defensive and physical teams.

The second half began with a much braver Hospitalet, who tried to pick up Barça B to try to cut differences. Far from being effective, the B team found more space and completely destroyed the opponent in the offensive transitions. After a foul, Konrad left Arnau Comas alone after the pass of death, and later Collado had a reward for his fantastic match with a brace.

At the end, 6-0 for a Barça B that reaches the key stretch of the season with their morale in the clouds, at its best football and ready to fight for everything. As if the football exhibition was not enough, García Pimienta made Pablo Páez “Gavi” debut, a 16-year-old interior that currently belongs to Juvenil A and will have a great future. Next weekend the B team will visit Lleida, pursuer of the blaugranas, in what will be a decisive match for the promotion positions.
