FC Barcelona 2024/25 Annual Report

Barcelona released its 2024/25 Annual Report in late October alongside the Ordinary General Assembly, where members approved last season’s accounts and the 2025/26 budget. We have looked through the 338-page report to pull the key figures on revenue, wages, transfer payables, taxes, financing, one-offs, and the stadium project. The point of this is to put the most accurate numbers in one place, because there are too many shaky claims and fake figures floating around.

Every Ballon d’Or won by Barça

Barcelona left Paris with four major awards. Aitana Bonmatí won a third straight Ballon d’Or. Lamine Yamal finished second in the men’s Ballon d’Or and retained the Kopa Trophy. Vicky López won the first women’s Kopa Trophy. Ewa Pajor received the Gerd Müller Trophy for top women’s scorer. Barcelona’s Ballon d’Or total reached 20 with 13 from La Masia, and the ballot also placed Raphinha fifth, Pedri 11th, and Robert Lewandowski 17th.

Barcelona draw 1-1 at Rayo Vallecano on Matchday 3

Barcelona closed August with a 1 - 1 draw in Vallecas. Lamine Yamal scored a penalty in the first half, and Fran Pérez equalized from a corner after the break. The pitch was rough, the VAR monitor worked off and on in the first half, and Joan García’s saves protected the point. Hansi Flick rotated in defense, Fermín López saw minutes off the bench, and Barça finished the month on seven points from three away games.

Rayo Vallecano vs Barcelona pre match review

Barcelona go to Vallecas tonight at 21:30 CEST for Matchday 3 looking for three out of three wins. The pitch is in poor condition and Rayo will press high. Wojciech Szczesny is registered and available. Roony Bardghji is not registered. Gerard Martín makes the squad. Frenkie de Jong returns. The big call up front is Ferran Torres or Robert Lewandowski.

Barcelona 2025/26 Champions League schedule and home venue plan

UEFA has approved Barcelona’s request to start the 2025/26 campaign away. That clears a home date on October 1 in Barcelona, with Camp Nou the first choice and Montjuïc ready if needed. The league phase will open away on September 18, then the second game will be at home on October 1. The goal is to buy extra time to prepare the first European night back in the city.

UWCL Final: Blaugrana Brilliance vs. Gunners’ Grit

As the Estádio José Alvalade in Lisbon gets ready for the 2025 UEFA Women’s Champions League final on May 24, FC Barcelona Femení seeks their third straight title and fourth in five years, facing Arsenal Women in their first final in 18 years. This match highlights Barcelona’s attacking flair against Arsenal’s resilient spirit, marking a significant moment for women’s football.

¡Vamos a México!

Live fast, travel often. Not exactly how the quote goes, but for Barcelona Femení the tail end of a domestic season in Spain and capping off European competition as champions means more time for training and less thinking for games. In this case, "l'equip" (the team) are heading across oceans and over borders to arrive 9,425 km away, or 5,856 miles away. Barcelona will be facing Mexican powerhouses Chivas Femenil in an international friendly at Estadio Akron near Guadalajara. And the people of Mexico are ready.

Big blow with potential departure of Bartel

. For nineteen year old footballer Júlia Bartel from Castellbisbal, Spain, life consists of having two of the most prestigious professional women's football clubs in Europe vying for her ability. A product of La Masia (Barcelona's youth academy), a FIFA U-20 World Cup Winner in 2022, and a top emerging talent in the world of women's football (who is most likely moving to England), life can be pretty successful at nineteen.
